Effective Video Promotion at a Trade Show


One of the most effective ways to promote your company is through the use of video. Customers are not really all that interested in reading about your company, they want to see it in action!  With hundreds to thousands of attendees at every trade show, it’ s impossible to converse with everyone, and that is why an enticing video is a nice way to attract visitors to your booth.  Beyond the trade show floor, videos can be uploaded to the web for the world to see.  With your video online, people can access it at anytime, and the opportunity to reach prospective customers will be endless.

All you need to do is grab a camera and record your best salesperson pitching your product.  It should only be a few minutes long.  The main objective is to create awareness of your product and business.  Explain how your product works, what it is used for, what sets you apart from the competition, and if possible, include real and enthusiastic testimonials from delighted customers.

In order for the video to generate a positive view for your company, keep it professional. Have a clear message and know who your targeted audience is.  Make sure audio and lighting are good and be sure to use a tripod.  Good editing can go a long way, so be sure to spend time making your video perfect.
